Na passada Segunda-Feira, dia 16 de Junho corrente, decorreu no edifício Rádio Kootwijk, em Apeldoorn – Holanda, o encerramento do programa europeu Landscape and Leisure, onde uma equipa da ESTG, constituida por dois docentes do curso de Design de Ambientes, uma Técnica e dois Alunos, participou nos trabalhos decorrentes da publicação de projectos submetidos por trinta e três Instituições de Ensino Superior da Europa. Abaixo se reproduz a apresentação efectuada nesse âmbito.

Leisure map of Portugal and Environmental qualification and landscape planning

Project

This research did an inventory of the natural and cultural values of the sandy beach area between Darque and Amorosa (south of the River Lima) and their actual and historical recreational and culture use, made an environmental diagnostic and territorial evaluation of this coast and its integration in an environmental qualification proposal and a landscape plan.

The team proposed some ‘descriptive memories’ and singular projects with techniques drawings and design supported by cartographic systems. Other elements of this project was a proposal for interpretative walking itineraries and unities for environmental education, both as an integrated process from occasional visitors, as from their usual local population.

The school also produced a leisure map for Portugal, beginning with an inventory of mapping of Portugal, and finally deciding in making an emblematic map of Portugal with “heraldic shields” explaining the leisure themes and identities of different regions and cities. The map uses the national inventory of Leisure in Portugal as basis.
